Formed in early 2017, ‘Hometown Rock’ pioneers Bettin' On The Mule from Rockmart, Georgia are rooted in grit, groove, and the golden era of guitar-driven music. Born in the heart of the South, the band built their reputation where it counts, on stage. Their live shows are a full-throttle ride through hard truths, good times, and the kind of songs that stick with you long after the lights go down. Whether it’s a packed-out club, a hometown festival, a fun fair, or a private event, Bettin’ On The Mule shows up with everything they’ve got, every single time. Known for their nonstop shows and with their unique sound, the artists bring a distinctive energy and vibe to their performances. BOTM's vast musical catalogue enables their set list to include all the crowd favorites as well as their own original songs. All with the goal of getting everyone up and keeping them dancing.
Depicting a signature style which seamlessly blends Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and Country, Bettin' on the Mule present a fascinating and soulful new genre - "Hometown Rock." The band has had two of their most recent singles, "Small Town" and "Long Live Country Boy" featured on iHeartRadio and radio stations 94.9 Atlanta, GA, 105.7 Augusta, GA and 96.5 Macon The Bull's Backyard Country. The show also named BOTM their "Artist of the Week". The single "Small Town" was featured on the show for 5 consecutive weeks.
Two of Bettin' On The Mule's EP releases were recorded at the studio of Jackyl lead singer Jessie James Dupree's Cock of the Walk Studio. As well as, produced and engineered by acclaimed engineer Jeff Tomei.
A great milestone as an completely independent artist, Bettin' On The Mule has achieved tens of thousands of total organic streams and their original music has been heard on many stations all over the world including the U.S., U.K., Switzerland, Germany, and Brazil. The band has been featured in publications such as Tennessee Star, Marietta Daily Journal, NorthWest Georgia News, Shoutout Atlanta Magazine to name a few.
Members have been honored to have opened for National, Regional and Local acts such as The Lacs, The Georgia Thunderbolts, Jeff Rogers Band, Kinchafoonee Cowboys, Quiet Riot, Drivin N Cryin, Michael Allman, Humble Pie and more.
The band has played many exciting venues all over the southeast including, The North Georgia Fair, The Cave Spring Motorcycle Rally and Musicfest, Taste and Brews Festival, Hi-Fi Clyde's (Chattanooga), Angel City Motorcycle Rally, Sixes Tavern, Madlife Stage & Studios, Chattahoochee Mountain Fair, The Great Locomotive Chase Festival, The Cleburne County Fair (Alabama) and Kennesaw Pigs n Peaches BBQ Festival, The Bus (Tennessee), Chevelles 66 (North Carolina) and Hammerheads (Florida) in addition to many others.
As their journey unfolds, Bettin' On The Mule remains dedicated to delivering electrifying live shows, gaining new fans and crafting exceptional music for the times to come. Bringing their "Hometown Rock" to the masses.
